On a rainy Sunday night, Badflower touched down in the City of Angels bringing their Asking
For a Friend Tour to the Fonda Theatre. With support from the UK’s Blood Red Shoes and New.
Bad flower was finally up. As the curtain to the legendary venue lifted the crowd went wild.
Making his way to the stage drummer, Anthony Sonetti walked to his kit starting the intro. Joey.
Morrow showed up guitar in hand, then came bassist Alex Espiritu with his usually energy of
headbangs. As the crowd erupted with cheers, Josh Katz walked on to the stage. Katz dressed in
black overalls that featured a patch with the cover art of OK, I’m Sick hand drawn in black and
white. The band was complete! Each member made their way to their respectful zones and the
show began.
Opening with “F*ck the World”, followed by “Johnny Wants to Fight”, and “Don’t Save Me”.
The crowd was ecstatic and shouting the lyrics to every chorus. Or at least that’s what I
thought. As Badflower began to play more known hits such as “The Jester” and “Ghost” the
emotions from the crowd was at an all-time high, shouting at the top of their lungs.
In the audience, fans were dancing and letting all their feelings out. At one point Katz ven
asked them if they were “in their feels yet?”. The answer – “YES!”.

Halfway through the set Katz was left on stage. Just him and his guitar. Strumming the first few
bars of “Move Me”, Katz had the crowds undivided attention and hung on to every word. The
band shortly after joining the singer once again.
As the show came to an end, Katz thanked everyone for coming tonight and supporting them
throughout the years. The band ended with a beautiful encore finishing with the night with
“30”.
